Third Place Books is excited to host Kelly Goto at our Ravenna store for a special celebration of her new book, Seattle Samurai: A Cartoonist’s Perspective of the Japanese American Experience. Through the lens of her father’s iconic comic strip Seattle Tomodachi, Kelly weaves together history, culture, and storytelling to highlight the resilience and humor of Japanese Americans in the Pacific Northwest.
